Emergency Notification System (ENS) Alert
Emergency Notification System (ENS) offers a text notification system that allows deaf and hard-of-hearing Hawai’i citizens to receive emergency alert messages on any wireless device related to a natural disaster, such as a tsunami or any other emergency impacting the islands. The ENS service is FREE. Emergency Notification System is provided by Sprint Relay, as regulated by the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (PUC). Hawaii State Civil Defense (SCD) supports the implementation of this service*.
